IndigiNews
Help us raise $5,000 to continue our storytelling journey. We are
at 74 per cent of our goal.

tânisi cuzzins,

You’ve helped us raise over $3,700 over the last couple of weeks. hiy hiy. Your contributions are so valuable to IndigiNews as we continue on our storytelling journey.

Our fundraising campaign ends tomorrow. If you haven’t given yet this year, please consider making a contribution now.

Support Indigenous storytelling

IndigiNews is growing, for which we are grateful. But growth can sometimes push us to work more than we have the capacity for. Colonial cultures pressures us to push through, to keep working no matter what. But we owe it to ourselves to resist that narrative and allow time for healing and rest.

Rest, in fact, allows us to do more — and do it well. It’s an important part of our journey.

Those of you who have read IndigiNews for a while may remember that we usually run a big fundraising campaign around this time of year. But with so much going on, we decided to scale it back and set a smaller goal than usual. It’s not that we don’t need your support — the reason why we do this every year is because, unfortunately, we do need those funds to pay our bills and continue paddling our canoe.

So many of you have shown up and contributed. For that, we are very grateful. The dollars you help us raise this month will allow us to continue navigating these waters, at a steady and sustainable pace.

Will you help us continue our storytelling journey?

Yes, I support IndigiNews!

We are grateful for any support, but if you have the ability to make a monthly or yearly contribution, that is the best way to ensure IndigiNews can continue on our storytelling journey for years to come.

hiy hiy,
