I’ve been so proud of what we are accomplishing at IndigiNews. We publish storytellers from all backgrounds — not just those who went to journalism school. We reject colonial narratives of Indigenous Peoples. We don’t shy away from holding powerful, colonial institutions accountable.

We have walked our own path, true to our Indigenous roots. And today, we are an award-winning, Indigenous women-led news publication, whose stories are republished in major news outlets like the Washington Post and Associated Press.
